Along the Svitava river - on the city outskirts, along a cycling trail by the river, to the nearest town. It's about 5 km comfortable walk, just right for Sunday afternoon, and back by train.

Aha! For some reason I always thought you lived near Prague. Then I realized that some of your photos just didn't look like something one would find anywhere near a city that size . . . Reminded me of places I've seen close to my old stomping grounds in eastern Ohio or western Pennsylvania.

Can't really say what Prague outskirts might look like, I've only done the obligatory tourist round in the historical centre (which is pretty but too much cold stone). But most small settlements look like this, I suppose.
