Nifty. I need to get my hands on some bait Flutters to do my OCs with.

Do that, flutters are pretty. A bit hard to rehair though and stuff 'cause they're so small. This one has her original hair still though. And I hope I can get the wings attached well.

I can tell that's her original hair. I bought my mom a Peach Blossom as a Mother's Day present.

Ideally I would get Rosedust or Honeysuckle baits with faded hair, or for that matter Forget-Me-Not baits, to use, because then I could just dye the mane and tail instead of going to the trouble of rehairing.

How durable are those wings you made? I know I don't have to worry about mine breaking because I cut them from clear toy packagin plastic.

I never thought of that. But then I have never dyed ponyhair before.

I have no idea. First wings I ever made. Cut out from... uh, a plastic sheet. A laminating pouch. Then I used high gloss sealer as glue and strew glitter on. Mine would be thinner than yours, but I hope they're durable.

Actually yours are a good bit thicker.

You think so? Well, it's still pretty thin. But it works I think. I haven't actually glued the wings on yet though because I'll try a painted version as well as a glitter one. See which looks better.

Okay, mine are no thicker than a playing card. That's how thin they are.

My wings are clear with maybe a sprinkling of glitter, to match the cartoon. They're also removable instead of being glued in.

Mine too. Very thin. But I think they'll hold.

I see. I made a colourful butterfly pattern on mine. I can't make them removable I think. How did you do that?

I just made the tab portions wide enough to stay in the wing sockets by tension.

I'm not sure I understood what that meant. But nevermind, I'll glue mine anyway.
