What killed my love of Gem and his sister was their habit of finishing each other's sentences. But their actors were awesome.

Yea, I never liked Gem & Gemma. I considered them to be abominations to their Sentai counterparts. And Tomax & Xamot do the whole finishing each others sentences WAY better than those two! Plus, Gem is pretty ugly looking.

I prefer RPM. I feel like it balances it's optimism and seriousness better than Go-onger which is either WAY goofy or WAY serious. That and the characters in RPM feel more... developed.

I like them both in different ways. They both serve their purpose as the polar opposite to the rest of the team. Although I must admit it did kind of ruin it for me when Hiroto and Miu started dancing in the ending!

I love how these two counterparts are so different. The Wings are cool, calm and collected while Gem and Gemma have little to no self control.

Depends. Sometimes PR is better, other times Super Sentai. I think it's more a personal opinion, so I'd suggest checking out the super sentai you think look interesting, watch/download them and then deciding if you want to watch some more.
If you're looking for suggestions, for sheer fun and silliness (with the occasionally serious plot) check out Go-Onger, which I think is better than RPM. Then again I think most things are better than RPM
If you're looking for a balance between a serious plot and funny moments, check out Gekiranger, Jungle Fury's counterpart. I can't say personally which is better though.
If you're looking for something that's similar to it's Power Ranger counterpart, go over to Gaoranger. Seriously the opening alone is almost a Japanese version of PRWF. It's not exactly the same though, so there are some nice surprises and differences

Its because the Rangers on the left I got from a photograph while the ones on the right I got from a magazine article so whoever the photographer was photoshopped the reflections

Gai isn't Go-On Wings and he Gokaiger hasn't made it to Power Rangers yet, so I couldn't use him in here.

But thats different from this particular version of Tributes because Gokaiger doesn't have an adaption yet. Unless if you mean like a separate one.
