This is just one of the many scenes which sees Jake and the Neverland Pirates embark on an adventure unlike anything seen before except for in that one movie. Our heroes go on a journey to save a village from an evil cult. Along the way, the crew get captured and forced into slavery, Jake is hypnotised into nearly sacrificing Izzy, only to be snapped out of it by Cubby. They then fight the bad guys and free the slaves before taking the ancient stone they keep and making a crazy minecart getaway. The crew are then chased to a bridge where they are cornered and, in a desperate move, Jake lowers his sword against the rope, ready to slash.

My favourite part about this picture was in making Jake, Izzy, Cubby and Skully all battered and bruised, adding rips and tears to their clothing as well as small scratches and dirt marks to their skin. Just like how Dr Jones takes noticable wear and tear while he explores ancient ruins and punches bag guys in the face, I wanted these characters to appear similar, that they are nearing the end of a long journey.

Don't worry. As bad as this looks, it will end just fine for these pint-sized pirates.
