Personality
At first glance, Malik seems to be quiet and reserved, preferring much more to sit quietly in the background than be active in conversation. He tends to be rather short with people when he does converse, though he seems to be respectful to all(until given reason not to). Malik is very honest(sometimes brutally so) and does live by his word. He is always eager to prove himself, and is very diligent at most things he does. He often prefers to do things on his own when he can, and seems reluctant to rely on others to get things done. When the right buttons are pushed he can become... irrational(to put it nicely).

History
Malik alongside his family grew up belonging to a traveling caravan(one that is infamous for producing all kinds of shamans, mediums, and fortune tellers around the swamp). And while life in the household was not always tender, respect was the common ground for them all. He seemed to have a happy childhood, he did good with the other children and with his learning. From a young age, Malik knew he was going to be a part of the circus, and worked hard to develop skills and abilities needed to become an acrobat. Malik had a brother who was 4 years older, and due to the gap in age, growing up Malik felt as though he was always behind his brother in everything, and whenever there was something to do, his brother did it first. Determined that whatever he couldn't do first, he would do better, and things he could do first, he would make unbeatable, Malik set himself on a course for self-improvement. He started to distance himself from others as he focused more on becoming a better acrobat than his brother. He seemed to lose interest in what the other kids liked, considering himself more 'mature'. Now, as an adult, Malik continues to work hard almost everyday, and is a performer in the Nocturne D'Ombra, performing an act alongside Waqi Yu'Pik, a childhood friend.

Works for the Nocturne D'Ombra the mysterious traveling circus that seems to come and go overnight. He does acrobatic/dancing acts in the show, though the circus is full of many, dark wonders....
While the caravan stays in the swamp, the circus occasionally sets up in other biomes for a show or two before returning.

His hair is actually pretty long, though normally he seems to wear it up.
His pokemon all make appearances in the show, and Malik trains them constantly to be the best they can be. While the show is namely for more... showy things, Malik also likes to train is pokemon in order to make them 'battle ready'.
Battle Tactics: Malik likes to do things early that'll come back and bite his opponent later. He seems to go for status afflictions, namely poison, to do the trick, before launching an all-out offensive. He seems to enjoy single and double battles.

Olin is not a very outgoing pokemon, seeming to float about often, watching others with interest. She can sometimes lose sight of what she's supposed to doing, floating off to arceus-knows-where to watch something interesting. It will probably give Malik grey hair pretty soon.

Olin was Malik's first pokemon, and he seems to care for her a great deal. He quite literally bumped into her as a misdreavus in the swamp when he was a child. After playing and bonding with the curious pokemon for awhile, the two were practically inseperable afterwards, and his parents were quite happy with Malik getting himself his own pokemon. Olin is able to use her moves to create beautiful effects during the show.

Yaotl is a restless pokemon, constantly having to do something. This made him easier to train than the others, and Yaotl seems to always work hard during training(to Malik's joy). He is rather approachable, in fact maybe a little bit too approachable, because new things and people always seem like a good idea to entertain him for awhile.

Malik got Yaotl 2 years after getting Olin, as a croagunk. Together, Malik trained with the pokemon, and often considers Yaotl to be his 'ace'. Though Yaotl's moves make better for battle than for show, the toxicroak is rather agile and strong, performing on stage in some acts, alongside others.

Nochtli is one of those pokemon that like to be touched and fed, and will probably end up sitting by you, staring expectantly for you to do something. He is far more laid back and easier to keep track of than any of Malik's other pokemon, however. Though, this laidbackness carries over to training, and Malik often has to give the ivysaur a push.

The latest pokemon Malik has recieved. He recieved Nochtli as an egg, and incubated him until hatching. Malik has not had Nochtli for nearly as long as he has had the others, though the two seem to work well together. Nochtli's role in the circus is similar to Olin's, with effects using moves as his specialty.
