Into the Nothing was not born on the ranch he was bred. Before he hatched his mother brought him to the neighboring ranch and left him there to protect him from falling into his father's grasp. This led Into the Nothing to believe that his mother despised him. A reasonable (though wrong) conclusion, since he and his brother are the offspring of a forced breeding. He knows the truth now and loves his mother dearly.

He is ashamed of the way he was born, and after meeting his father he decided he hated the selfish, power hungry pokemon. His father beat him viciously when he refused to serve him. Fallen is very noble and feels he must protect his ranch from his father's awful plans as well as make up for his father's wrongs, so he started and leads his ranch's guard force: the Draconisara Defense Division .

Into the Nothing may look scary, but he's actually nice and noble. He is generally quiet and combined with his appearance this can make his presence unnerving. However, the reason he is quiet is because he believes in the power of words. He thinks carefully before speaking and never says something he doesn't mean. The only time he talks a lot is when he is acting as the Guard Force's commander, as he feels it important to address his soldiers with words to communicate clearly.

Into the Nothing finally bonded to his trainer and ranchmates, allowing him to come out of the metaphoric shell he was originally stuck in. His trainer trusts him fully and leaves the ranch's guard force almost entirely up to him. Now he seeks to have more children to join the DDD. While he expects most of his offspring to join up, he will not disown them or be angry if they don't want to.

In his free time, he likes to jam out to rock music with his children, however he hasn't had much free time lately as he frantically builds his forces to prepare for his father's eventual assault.
