Another picture idea I've had since page 62.Rule's "Sympathic Enamel's Carnal Magnetism" and Meander's "Vituperous Canine's Yawing Molary".

ive attempted splitting a background like that before, and found it ridiculously difficult. how did you manage it?

If you mean the shape of the split, all I did was draw lines using a grid, eyeballing it as close as possible, and then mark the shape (triangles going to and fro). Then I just filled in the triangles with the color that would be on the opposite side! Then I drew over the grid with the color that would be under it. (Should be no problem using "Remask" in oekaki, since the grid was all one color! Like how I did the grid when I drew the DNA in that picture of Polarizing.
