Description
Battle HammerI could polish some more on lighting and render settings but don`t have time. Maybe after i upgrade my PC.
Software: 3ds Max with Mental Ray
Texturing and Post-production PS
Done in ~1h
Update:
-higher resolution
-normal map bumped up
-higher shadow quality
-changes in lava diffuse and self illumination parameters

This is nearly identicle to a weapon in GW2 known as magmaton. I love the look of that hammer.

I can't tell if you have a normal map on the lava or not but if you don't you should and if you do you should dial it up a bit to really generate some depth to those cracks. If you did that and got the glow working as the previous suggestion said the lava would be awesome.

i had a few minutes (rly just a few) and made some modifications. i guess i need to figure out a way to make it glow some more.

i did read some solutions on the glow (detaching so that way i dont need to use muli/sub object material). I guess in the next few days i will have some spare time work on it. thx for the advices.

yes i know but the problem is that i use multi/sub object and with mental ray the glow is not working at least for me . i read some forums about this topic and others have same problem too.
If u know any solutions pls let me know
