Tiger had shattered the pseudo riders' Alternative Decks into pieces and both individuals then dissolve into nothingness due to the Mirror World's environment.*

*As Satoru had ran away from a battle due to being defeated by Ouja but he had heard the car that he had sabotaged exploded, Satoru saw a random father and son when crossing a road which briefly reminded him of Hideyuki and his own son. But then, an out of control truck was about to crash into the random father and son before Satoru sacrifice himself to save the two pedestrians.*

*Satoru was fatally wounded by the out of the control truck and he remembered Shuichi's words regarding being a hero.*
