Description
Every great game deserves a sequel, right? Well in 2009 FEAR got a sequel, released for PC, Xbox 360, and PS3.In FEAR 2 you play as Sgt. Michael Becket, a member of the Delta Force squad of F.E.A.R as they embark on a mission to at first, apprehend Genevieve Aristide(a character whose name was mentioned prominently in the first game), but after that mission goes sour, (due to this happening roughly approximately the same time as final part of the first game), Becket and the rest of Delta Force seek out to defeat Alma Wade, that creepy girl who would crop up every now and then in the first game.(I'm probably going to be saying "In the first game." a lot.
In the first FEAR, which had a lot of flamboyant smoke, and particle effects, which I'll admit looked pretty cool at first, but once I got over it, I found that these effects were obnoxious and were a terrible impediment, making it a bit difficult to sometimes keep track of enemies, here they're not quite as bad or prominent as they were back then.
I konw this may seem like a minor thing, but I do like that they didn't go the regenerating health route,as many games around that time(Hell, even to this day.) were starting to implement regenerating health.
But much like the first game, FEAR 2 does still does have a tendency to lend itself into repetition, the enemies now kinda come after you in waves, which can get a little irritating, plus some annoying enemy type that crop up every now and then, but "The Reflex time slow-mo ability" does make them a bit more tolerable to deal with.
If you were a big fan of the first FEAR, then I have no problem recommending FEAR 2, it may be just be more of the same, but then again, if you have no problem with that, who am I to complain?

even when I regret buying it's PC version from Steam instead of GOG.com, it's still good game and how about this idea: Hiro Nakamura intervene in the final part of this game when Genevieve Aristide shut down the only thing that allows Becket kill Alma?
