Description
Some say Fan Service is always bad.Some say that Fan Service makes whatever was good crap.
I say that Fan Service is situational.
Burn up! was a decent OVA.
Then I watched Burn up! Warrior and I enjoyed it a whole deal.
Same with it's sequal Burn up! Excess which I thought improved on it.
What followed after it was a reboot which was great in it's own right.
But to get back on topic;
Rio Kinezono was my favorite in Warrior and Excess.
In the final episode of Warrior, we get to see all of the girls naked in the showers..
While in Scramble, Lilica is without a doubt my favorite ^_^

after all, the great GAINAX of good old times was excellent at making fanservice thah didn't obstacle the story, or even that actually was functional to the story (but at that point I don't even know if you can call it fanservice anymore XD) and Studio Trigger usually is good at it too (at least, in Kill la Kill, it was xP)

But my hate for a - very specific series in mind - aside, fanservice is just too much these days.
Ruined Utawarerumono Itsuwari No Kamen with pointless fanservice. Which is ironic considering Utawarerumono's roots..

well basically yes, i.e. when it still existed xD (now i have no idea what's up to, with hideaki anno buried into the goddamn Rebuild of Eva for the rest of eternity :S)
oh anyway i agree on the general thing, i find it obnoxious most of times
