Description Thanks to riderBoy for letting me use his original template: [link]

After watching Power Rangers Samurai - Clash of The Red Rangers/I think it was an OK episode, I decided to make this chibi.

This is pretty Samurai's answer to the Super and Hyper coats from Shinkenger when they're in the Megazord. They gain some more armor on their chests and the color changes for the appropriate Super or Hyper Power-up. That's it.

I'm not like a lot of people as I don't mind some things that would drive other people insane. Now, the reason why Scott/Ranger Red couldn't de-morph was kinda weird but understandable since he's in a different world than his and he doesn't know if the air is clean enough since he's lived in the dome of Corinth for so long.

I also don't know why the other RPM Rangers aren't in this episode since they'd need them all for the Sky-Rev Megazord to even work. Maybe it's possible that Doctor K was able to give Scott the power to handle the Sky-Rev Megazord on his own while the others were tied up with something that they couldn't join Scott in the Megazord.

What do you guys personally think about the 2-parter Clash of The Red Rangers and this chibi?

PS: The combination of both the Shinkenger's main movie and the Shinkenger VS Go-Onger team-up footage was OK/Can't wait to see what they do with the Decade & Shinkenger team-up footage.

i don't think there will be a decade/samurai crossover.

there is going to be a Shogun Mode 2 (watched video of the guy who designed the mega mode) at least for red It actually kinda looks like if the red ranger was wearing the samurai megazord as armor

Awesome chibi. I have plans to buy all the Mega Mode samurai figures, and now I gotta add this to the list. Might skip the ones with removable helmets though.

Also the super mode coat looks different. Google turned up this:

There will probably be a variant for the girls as well.

As for the teamup, I was too distracted by the random newness, and the fact that Emily was suddenly hot to notice the usual quirks. I did like "Symbol Power: Red Pony", and:

"I won't see it end like this!"
"Then you should close your eyes"

Thanks.

I have seen the Auto-Morph figures/like those but they're normal MegaMode in the store but they're not my style.

I did like some of the lines in the episode.

Great chibi!

Okay, about the team-up. Though i regret to see only one ranger of RPM (too bad, it was my fav season) I can understand they maybe couldn't get all actors. And despite being unmorphed and dubbed (though they cleverly covered taht up) it was a really good team-up considering the little they had to work with.

It was a good use of footage from the shinkenger movie and teamup, and i was quite satisfied with it. It was decent, and dare i say it actually very good. There are some things wrong, like calling the dinosaur sword a shark sword, making this the debut of the lantern and super modes (they have a habit to release episodes out of order thsi season).

But for the rest I think it was really enjoyable. Good use of the sentai footage, the jokes and one-liners were actually funny (in other episodes, the puns were just lame) and the writing for this episode was also a lot better. And I'm also satisfied at the action.

Though I think they should have made Professor Cog into Venjix, who after RPM survived (clearly seen by the red blinking eye on scott's morpher in the finale) and that would tie up loose ends better. But for what it's worth, it can be considered one of the better teamups!

FINALLY! Someone who agrees with me!

I actually learned from a friend of mine on YouTube that Eka Darville/the dude who plays Scott aka RPM Red is actually in the episode, but due to Saban not wanting to pay Union fees, Eka had to use a fake name which was Tobias Reiss in order to even voice his character.

I'm also betting that the Union Fee thing is what stopped Saban from doing a FULL Samurai VS RPM team-up. Plus, The Lantern Zord/no name yet didn't even say anything which possibly means that they're looking for a voice for him. Also, Antonio's actor was working on a CD at the time so, he could only do some voice dubbing scenes in this 2-Parter/using an OK body double and during his first fight in the episode, we can see Genta's/ShinkenGold's Sushi Cart.

I do think that this 2-Parter is a solid team-up. Even though the whole RPM cast aren't there, they're at least there in spirit/After the rest of the Samurai Rangers get back, Emily says that the RPM Rangers said Hi for Scott. Nice idea for Professor Cog as Venjix.

Overall, I give this 2-Parter a very nice 8.5 out of 10.

Knew it wouldn't take you too long to whip out one of these... (I just learned about it by chance a few hours ago myself, despite not seeing it in the show.)

Honestly, that Shark Mega Mode armor looks sweet. If a fully-articulated action figure turns up, I might not mind getting one.

Honestly, I haven't seen a shark with legs since the Seacons. is wrong with Saban!?

I don't know what's wrong with Saban, EVA.

I'm planning on making a custom of the Shark Mega-Mode armor along with Shark Attack Mode Red/Hyper ShinkenRed and Dark Mode Red/Gedou ShinkenRed.

ALSO: The Super, Hyper, and Gedou versions of ShinkenRed are all getting Figuarts thanks to latest Tamashii Nations festival.

On the custom Shark Mega-Mode Red, I should only have to make a few clay pieces for the armor and just repaint the sucker. The Shark Attack Mode Red/Hyper ShinkenRed and Dark Mode Red/Gedou ShinkenRed figures, however, will be a little more difficult as they're more than likely gonna be full-body custom repaints.

PS: If you take the fins and such off the Shark-Zord toy, it'll resemble the Kyoryu Origami a bit more, minus the awesomeness of the actual Kyoryu Origami. Also, the only Shark Mega-Mode Red figure comes with the Shark-Zord toy, and it SUCKS.

Nice chibi, but again, as I have ranted a number of times today, IT'S NOT A SHARK! IT'S A SAUROPOD!

...Even two years ago, except for the name, did anyone even think it looked like a sauropod? Seriously, calm down. I've always thought of it as a dragon anyways.

Okay, I've taken a day to calm down. I can understand why they would change the animal to something a bit easier for North American audiences to recognize, so I could understand if they changed it to a dragon. However, shark still doesn't work. Why? Because it has LEGS. Really, look back at the footage of when they call it in Zord form, it has legs.

Actually, they already had a dragon. That's the blue ranger's folding zord, so that was out of the question. And I know nothing about sauropods, so I can't comment on that, but I do have an idea why they went with the shark. In the big fight, the sword had the capacity to track enemies and tear through them. Since they were changing up the name for the American version anyway, the best option for the new name was to base it off of what the sword can do.

I agree on that.

I was kinda like "WHAT?!" when they made the Kyoryu Origami smaller and made him a "shark" or "Sauropod".

But, I have grown to actually like the dang toy.
