Description
Years left me byI wore the wrong pair of glasses
Their lens had been twisted
The left frame a half moon, the right one a star
Their focus was all wrong
But I couldn't take them off
Like a python, they had wrapped around me
Slowly, I would have suffocated
Until my eyes would adjust
And I would be blind
But thankfully I'm not
My glasses shattered
They turned to stone, and grew too heavy
Fell down on the pavement
Each stone piece dancing on the concrete
Until gravity fastened it to the ground
The evil lenses became nil
I could focus
I could see what I've been missing
And all you did was tap me on the shoulder

;D
Only because I wear a pair every day.
Perhaps I should do one on braces... haha
If I ever get poetic about dental pain....
