A few people were asking me how I do eyes. So... here you go. It is animated.DOWNLOAD TO VIEW
Do the sketch on one layer.
On top, draw the lids, iris and pupil.
On a layer between the sketch and lineart, color and shade the white of the eye.
On top of that, do the iris.
On top of everything, do a shine.
This is the only category I could get it into. Are there other categories that I can put animated GIFs into?

what program do you use? Do alot of programs have those tools?

I use Photoshop 7. I am not really sure what kind of tools other programs have, since I only use Photoshop.

well it worked enough on what i have. I used Adobe Photoshop essentials 4 and it had all the tools. Thanx so much for the tutorial ^-^

just wondering, how do i apply the shine? manually or s there and effect?

The final white one? Manually. Just grab a "Hard Round" brush to do it.

That little circle thing in the beginning is a good idea. D: That would really help me keep my character's eyes more leveled and stuff. xD
I have a question though, do you know if there is a dodge tool (or something similar) in Painter 9 or do I have to import my drawing from Painter to Photoshop to do that?

I used the 'glow' tool in the FX palette or something like that. You do have to be careful of what active color you have though. It works a little differently from Photoshops dodge, but it is the most like it.

I am not sure if there are any other things that allow GIFs, but It is really good and it exponentially increased my eye drawing ability, thanks a lot ^_^
I saw your profile on gaia, I would say that EVERYTHING you do is awesome!
Heh, and I laugh at the people who ask for 1k art or stuff, 100k is a reasonable sum, considering the effort, work, proportion, coloring, and blood, sweat, and tears added to the drawing, I would say though that 100k still isnt enough to charge for your beautiful art. Kudos for all of your beautiful drawings :3
