This is a test whether my primary motion graphics/broadcast design software for video, Adobe Aftereffects, can create interesting motion graphic avatars. This one is some rain droplets turning into chaos and then a two dimensional explosion. wanna see if the transparency works and files size ok. if it does, i'll probably exercise my aftereffects skills! Haven't worked on it much since school is over, gotta keep in touch.The idea to make animated avatars/icons is from this guy, Protectorate. His stuff are cool and insipiring

is that 3d rendered or 2d desgined?
i think i'd like more contrast between the dots and the transparent background. but,
it looks kind of like 1980s movies with computer effects, which is very awesome.
