Oh!!! WOW! That's great!! What a wonderful drawing! Hehehe you've somehow managed to capture the PERFECT facial expression for him.. comic pain.. lol! He's great. I love the little circuit board details on him.. and his TOES!! Such cute toes. I like the metal patches on his breastplate, and arms too.. wow.. I'm impressed! Great work!

wow thank you! I tried to colour it but the details did indeed disappear when i tried to magic wand the interior of Marvin, so that's one of the reasons why i left it black and white. I haven't been able to do anything you couldn't, i would've lost the detail if i tried removing the white. Anyway i drew it big so it was easier to add details, looks super complicated when it's shrunk to smaller sizes doncha think? oh and B&W has a kind of charm i can't describe...
btw, i have all 5 books of the Hitchhikers series (they call it a trilogy in five parts hurhur). If you want i can lend it to you...

the fact that i just finished the book...makes this really close to my heart. hahahaah. u hardly lost any detail from the original i saw todayyyy.. i dunno i always lose the tiny bits once i scan it and clean it . but maybe coz my lines are phat. .
