A kind and brave character. He is very protective of his friends and family. His motivation is to avenge his father's death, but he seeks no reward in aiding others for being a mercenary.

I like how everyone thought it was odd to see Ike this buff up form Path of Radiance to Radiant Dawn, the same thing with Super Smash Bros. Brawl to Super Smash Bros. 4.
But considering how heavy the Ragnall is, it'd be silly to not think Ike would gain considerable muscle mass while swinging that giant sword around... XD

Well, Ike is canonically buff. And I think it suits him. His portrait in Fire Emblem Fates further cements that.
