Lance was once the fourth and final member of the Elite Four of the Kanto League. He later proceeded to be the Champion of the Johto League (due to Red training at Mt. Silver). He specializes on the Dragon-type, similar to Claire (his cousin and a Johto Gym Leader).
I made him look more mature compared to the game, though...

Four years ago when I first played HG or SS( I forgot which one I played, I don't have the game anymore), I had the biggest crush on this guy. My fourteen-year-old self would be fangirling to no end. You HAVE to be muscular to be able to keep your Dragons under control. After all, there are times when stern words and treats are not enough. Sometimes, you gotta wrestle your Dragonites to the ground and give your Aerodactyls a firm beating when they threaten to kill YOU.
