Heh I recently had to think about this animation series, probably the only incarnation of Ultraman we know here in the Netherlands. (that makes him iconic to me)
Some episodes got a translation but sadly never the entire series.
I have to say that I still like the art style despite it being forty years old now. (hand drawn animation will continue to beat computer made for a long time to come)

Yep, found that out today when I was looking into this show on various wikis. The animation company has quite a history of animation including several for American companies.

I wish Sunrise and Tsuburaya becomes interested to do Ultraman anime again. I would like to see Ultraman Titas in an anime all over again.

I would definitely be interested in taking a look should the two companies work together on a new Anime series.
But would I be able to get into it without knowing any of the previous Ultra series?
From what I understand about The Ultraman series is that it is very open for new watchers. It is not required that they have seen any of the live action shows.
