(Marvel VS Devilman)
- Both were mortals whose bodies became hosts for a powerful demonic entity within them (Robbie for the Ghost Rider and Akira for Amon)
- Tragically orphaned at a young age having suffered the loss of their loved ones (Robbie losing his parents which forced him to have to raise his younger brother - Gabe on his own and Akira losing his parents which led to his girlfriend - Miki's parents becoming his legal guardian)
- Struggles with being tempted by demonic influences and their inner-demons into becoming a vilely feared demon that brings great ruin to all life
- In spite of all these struggles they use their demonic powers as a force for good to protect humanity from demonic threats and many great evils
