"So you think you're a decent villain? We'll see about that."My September entry for IP-Pageant , the theme of which is Heroes and Villains. It was REALLY hard to think of what Marci would be, since he's basically a...good bad guy...or a bad good guy? He's very in-between.
So why not make him a villain...who goes after other villains? He's not based on any other hero or villain, and I got some great discussion and suggestions from people in my recent livestream. Basically, he has the power (probably from that crystal cane) to steal the souls of people and store them in that crystal. But Β he only bothers stealing the souls of other bad guys. He figures that if he can take you down, you're not a good enough villain. He'll steal the soul of a hero as well, but only if they come to HIM, and are therefore being a nuisance.
And doug7070 made this great suggestion that I'm going to keep, which is that Marci then sticks the souls into various appliances around his house as a power source, lul. He's got a nice soul-generated microwaaave, and a soul-generated friiiidge, and a soul-generated heating pad....the amount of money he saves on electricity is worth the occasional wailing of the damned.

Also perhaps you are trying to describe Marci as a true neutral, which is just D&D nerd talk for "he does what he finds to be a good idea, and doesn't feel strongly one way or the other when it comes to good vs. evil."

What a marvelous concept! *u* I don't know if I've ever seen an...anti-villian(?) with that kind of characterization before but it definitely makes me hungry to see how such a story would play out :3c Not to mention if they looked as sharp as Marci does here, well that'd just be a treat to all the senses ^^ I love the gold accents on his vest again, and the purple flecks really add to the overall motion that the cape and his antennae give off~
