Sanavava is a civilian of the Irken Empire, living in a large city safe from invasion, terrorist attacks, and high crime rates. It has forward-thinking architecture, advanced technology, and lots of high-collar inhabitants.

And she's bored out of her mind in it. As someone with an adventurous nature, she grew up exploring the city. She knew everything about it by age 19. Her father, the Enforcer (police) chief of the entire city's division, believes the city is still a lovely and perpetually interesting place, thank you very much, and why can't you just be happy living here? Why do you feel a need to go off-planet and galavant across the galaxy? Well it's not happening, young lady, because of your condition.

Ah yes, that darn medical condition. The one Sanavava has been blessed with in particular is difficult to diagnose...Some form of extreme asthma, the doctors think. Sana experiences nausea and dizzy spells seemingly at random. On bad days, she'll black out. On good days, she won't experience any ill effects at all.

Despite the condition, she took up boxing and street-scrapping, out of an innate teenage desire for action and rebelliousness against her overly-stern police chief of a father. Different medications and treatments have yielded no permanent fixes for her condition, which frustrates her to no end. If she could just handle it, she's positive her father would let her off-planet. In preparation for her eventual journey, whether that will be a planned trip, or an escape, she earns some extra money with a part time job at an eccentric art shop (and art in general is already eccentric to the irken race). At this store, she has an outlet for frustration and creativity, and it gives her a good balance from her other part-time (unofficial) occupation, underground boxing and betting.

Maybe some day she'll get off Irk and explore the galaxy...but in the meantime she can paint flaming skulls and birds wearing barbed wire.

Despite feeling stuck, she does like her city. She loves meeting new people, and overall has a good-natured, tomboyish attitude. She is just as comfortable with braggadocio rappers and DJs as she is with the nice old lady who runs the bakery down the street.

Dislikes: Cheaters, old/boring people, living forever in one place, going to her Dad's boring meetings, taking medicine, doctor's offices, 'hoity-toity' people, rainy days.
