I feel there is no head cannon way in how Makima started working for the PSDH so I came up with one... enjoy!

Sir, we found a weird devil out in the province.

Takamoto roused up from this desk, as one of the higher-ups in the Public Safety Devil Hunters Organization he was above dealing with the sightings of new devils.

Aren't all devils weird in one way or another? I said with a smirk, what's so different about this one that you came to me?

Well, you are not wrong, but her behavior was strange she just walked up to the local PSDH station and offered herself up. Also, I am addressing it as a her because it has the appearance of an attractive young female in their 20's.

Well, that is certainly unique, but why are you bringing this all the way to me?

Well, she tells us that she wants to help us, and to maximize her power she needs a powerful contractee and the average public officer is not going to cut it.

Well, we have a picky devil with us. I guess it doesn't hurt to go and speak with her.

This building is as depressing as always. I thought as I entered the demon containment department.

As I was walking to the specific cell, my interest in this devil kept rising. I wonder if she can be as strong as some of the national assets like Santa Claus or QuanXi, of course, if she is properly reigned in.

I stopped in front of the appropriate cell and entered. The cell was not much just 4 gray walls, a bed, a toilet and a sink. In a chair, I saw a young woman with yellow eyes and red hair tied up in a long braid.

She was wearing one of our facility's washed-out prisoner uniforms, but it did not diminish her beauty. I knew this was just surface level, but there was something alluring about her eyes. Something that almost made me want to listen to her.

Then I finished my staring and asked. Okay, Devil what do you want?

First of all my name is Makima and it is not what I want l, but what you all want.

A selfless devil yeah right, I found the thought amusing and then said.

Yeah and what is that?

Well of course to eliminate all the demon filth from this world and create a perfect world.

That gave me pause a devil that voluntarily wants to fight other devils? Before I was curious, but now she had my attention.

I proceeded to ask briefly about her powers and even though I had a feeling she was not being 100% honest, I felt that it was enough. We could investigate the rest.

Ok, you mentioned that for your powers to work you need a powerful contractee right? What do you mean by that?

Well, not so much as powerful than influential.

Ok, that gave me some pause.

Fine, who do you have in mind?

Well, I have heard that this prime minister fellow has the most influence in the country.

Then I started laughing at that.
