I'm thinking about doing a series of speed painting exercises. Maybe 30 min to an hour exercise. I will try doing at least two per week from now. If I don't keep up with it, feel free to leave any nasty messages about how lazy and irresponsible I am lol.Here's the first one for this week. Another Axelia Concept, it was started about an hour ago and uploading it now.
Style sort of inspired by Kekai Kotaki, one of the most amazing artists out there! His style is very fast and beautiful.

Do you ever draw a sketch on paper when you do those quick paintings or do you start from scratch on the computer ?

I like her design. She seems wild, but strong and passionate with a dark edge of widom in her somber eyes as well. Actually like it alot.

Great idea on pursuing the speed painting. I have been thinking about that myself.
I'm recognizing that similar to working out for staying in shape, we as artists needs to find a regular routine where we are continually honing our craft and speed painting is one way to do that.

Pretty sweet stuff and I like that armor design and the colors are very nice and compliment the piece nicely! I'm lucky to even squeeze out a damn mushroom in 30 minutes, so this is pretty incredible to me!
