These little flashback highlights are short but give a huge look into Branwyn's backstory and why she's the way that she is. Additionally, it is impressive how you juggle several different styles to show the different flashbacks. Flashbacks when she was a kid being more transparent with pastels while more recent flashbacks are nearly full just with muted colors.
Guess it works as the further back you go the more holes there are in remembering so it might not look as clear as more recent events.
