Description
HETEROZYGOUS LEUCISTICLeucism (L) is a recessive gene, but in some individuals, there may be signs, or markers, if they’re heterozygous. Hets may have a lighter coat color or eyes. The coat will only be a few shades lighter or brighter, and both black and red hairs can be affected. If the coat does show het markers, then the whole coat will be affected, not just patches of brighter colors. Red hairs may be more intensely affected than black, or vice versa.
LEUCISTIC
Leucistic Zhorukas (ll) are solid or mostly solid white. They sometimes have colored patches or shading along the top of the head and down the spine, and the eyes are almost always blue. Leucism is not to be confused with albinism, which is the complete lack of pigment. Leucistic Zhorukas will still have pigmented skin, with the nose still visibly black or a dilution of black.

A NOTE ABOUT VISUAL GUIDES
Zhoruka visual guides offer general guidelines for colors, patterns, placement of markings, and extension of markings. They are not set in stone, hard rules, but they are fairly true to our design expectations. You are not required to color pick from gradients; they are meant as a starting point for those who may not know what colors to use.
