MySims charactere have gender despise no assigment to them. Heck, we can't select gender for our sim!

GothBoy is trully a boy! His real name is Herman, thank to the beta. Though his deep female voice doesn't help the case, some think he is a transgender. When transgender exist in Sims game? It's pure-male or pure-female! Better let GB as a pure-boy.

Meh, I hate when they assign emotion to genders. Emotion are for everyone! It's a way of expression, we can't prive them!

1: Yes. You can easily make nonbinary characters. Although since the game was released in 2007, the premades are all in binary genders.

2: Some boys are also girls cuz they're nonbinary, and some girls have boyish names, yes he could be trans, but likely it's more indicative of "he's a boy instead of a man", like he is teenaged and his voice has'nt cracked up yet. The "child of night" AKA he's just a really edgy child. Like about 11-15? Perhaps even younger than Renee. Most MySims premades are teens.

And there have been some trans\nb sims

The Grim Reaper and social bunnies - they don't have biological sex
Mario DaCosta - propably a transman, uses male pronouns in his sim bio although he's a female sim in-game, and takes the role of the repairman while Gwennie Peach takes the role of the repairwoman.Β
Darling Walsh - seems to be DFAB nonbinary, or at least a butch (likely either lesbian or aroace)

Hey, Audrey used to be a male name! Fun Fact: I choose a male in Pokemon Pearl as gender doesn't affect the gameplay and name him Audrey. Accidental good writing.

Yeah, really edge kid when he is a victim of wedgies, a form of bully, which explain his depressif personnality. I never understand why he is so popular. GB is like the most overrated sim of the serie. A,nd yet, he appears in every game, even in thoses that he shouldn't be. (Well, the Turkey-On-The-Fork part was funny and interesting. Despise that, it's a great way to expand his character)
And we have older sims like Elmira Clamp!
Gothic Style is more linked to the teen age. And as Goth Boy is a Emo (and not a Goth), he is in teen/pre-adult stage.

About the popularity stuff, this is the same thing hapenned to me. Because I was a bully victim and a philosophical person (not to mention pessimistic), I won't to make my experience as an advantage. That why I never wanted to be an artist or a writer. It will be unfair for the others.
I and Goth Boy are related in some way.

The trans-part is more a headcanon rather than canon. Focusing on the gender shouldn't be a thing, we love character for who they are, not what that look like.

Yes, names aren't really gendered. There are a lot of guys who'd go by feminine names on the internet, too. (And also many guys who'd give feminine names to their sons) Many people go by gender-neutral nicknames after all, as there's one for most names.

And GB is'nt the most overrated\popular sim, since he is only in MySims. From the four main games the most popualr\overrated ones are:

sims 1 - bella goth and bob newbye
sims 2 - bella goth, dina caliente, nina caliente, and don lotheario
sims 3 - thornton wolff
sims 4 - eliza pancakes, caleb vatore, salim benali, and bjorn bjergsen

and for trans, i never thought of anyone from mysims as trans. To me the trans premades are jenny smith, mario dacosta, darling walsh, and MAYBE jessica peterson. Either one or two transwomen (jenny and jessica), a perhaps nb transman (mario), and a nb or gnc sim (darling)

And for the bullying thing, not everyone does fanart to vent on their lives. I just draw cute stuff because I ADORE Simpson characters, expecially Seymour\Armin. Heck, I pretty much only watch it for Harry Shearer's voice. I should do Simpsons Anime 2.

I was talking about the MySims serie! Like Agent, Party, Kingdom and SkyHeroes. Goth Boy doesn't appears in the original serie!
Notice that he is the most-liked character of the franchise. Look at the number of fanarts and self-insert.

Art, much like writing, is a form of therapy. People prefers drawing rather than be popular or pratice. We can have people that recieve AND accept critic but doesn't want to improve.
I am this kind of person. I accept critic as my mistake may help the others who are watching my arts. I am giving them an example.

I played MySims long ago so I don't really follow its fandom right now. (Pretty sure I'm more familiar with TS3) I think my favorite was the girl with the closed eyes, green beanie, and long black hair. She was a fanfiction writer that did not sleep. (Jenny)Β

I also liked the mime girl (Yvette) a lot, and the bee girl (Roxie) the cutesy bunny girl (BeeBee), but really I liked most of them. Even Vincent and Morcubus.

Everyone's different. You write and draw to heal your mind off of bad thoughts, I just randomly get fanfic ideas. There are some others who draw for money and others who pretty much only do fap material.

I know Goth Boy is'nt in the original serie, MySims does'nt have anybody from the original it is a separate universe for example

-Cornelia married a guy surname Clamp and had Elvira and her sister instead of Mortimer. Gunther presumably stayed with Lolita and have their own children (heirs to the Goth manor)

-The Landgraab fortune does'nt seem to exist, they weren't the richest family because SimNations used essences not simoleons

-Actually the surnames and lore overall seem to be different, so it may be completely different families. The few shared surnames may just be coincidences\references. For example, it's more likely that Elmira having an Auntie Crumplebottom is a reference to Agnes Crumplebottom, than Elmira literally being the daughter of alternate Cornelia and the niece of alternate Agnes.

Just that, I played TS3 the most, and am much more familiar with the Sunset Valley premades.
