well... I can't say I recommend it... Β I had to leave the job due to chemical sensitivities myself. Β But (I also can't say I recommend this) if you were willing to move to Texas, you could call them and email them your resume. Β They're pretty much always hiring, due to a high turn over rate...

Oh wow, that does sound rather.. dangerous. Is it chemicals from the clay or the other processes like mold making and such?

Mold making and such. Β The clay is probably the safest thing there, it's actually made from food grade material.

But wow, I'm sorry you had to leave it because of that, it seems like such an exciting career! Thank you for the information. It's something I'd very much like to do, but I don't often consider the adverse health effects that come along with the whole process...

Never tried it! Β But rodents seem to love it. Β
There don't have to be adverse health effects... just take precautions, always ask for, and read the MSDS. Β
