Description
Scott Locke is an adventurer-for-hire, a man with many talents and an unquenchable thirst for any sort for adventure. From learning the mysterious ancient history of the fictional world to solving baffling mysteries. His professions include being a treasure-hunting archaeologist, a mystery-solving detective, a kung fu-fighting master martial artist, and a former secret agent that serves the FIB (Fictional Investigation Bureau) – an intelligence and security service agency for the fictions. He is a huge empathizer towards the fictions because he was saved by a fiction when he was young (a contrast to Eddie Valiant hating toons because one killed his brother). His motto is to “Never judge a fiction from their made-up story”.

Fiction-Punk is like "Who Framed Roger Rabbit meets Blade Runner".

It takes place in a Cyberpunk 21st century setting, where fictional characters from all media (called Fictions) coexist in the real world with humans (called Realzies) following a universe-shattering event known as the Amalgamate. However, much like the Toons in Roger Rabbit, Fictions are treated as second-class citizens. However, Scott Locke, a Realzy adventurer-for-hire, sympathizes the Fictions after one saved his life at a young age, an event that makes him follow his motto "Never judge a Fiction from their made-up story." In this novel, Scott Locke is tasked with investigating the murders of two high-profile Fictions, which incerases tension between the Realzies and Fictions.
