My reimagining of Scourge the Hedgehog from the Sonic the Hedgehog comics.

The Sonic of the Negaverse grew up on a peaceful world led by the genius Prof. Namgge (Nah-m-ghee). But Sonic's family was in the renegade force "Troop Tyrannic" which brought together some of the world's most evil villains in an attempt to overthrow Namgge and enforce their rule on the world. One night, The Namgge Robot Army found Troop Tyrannic's hideout and attempted to apprehend the villains, but Sonic's dad decided he'd rather blow himself and everyone up instead of be taken prisoner. Everyone perished except Sonic managed to make it to an escape tunnel in time. With his family dead, the rage in Sonic grew and drew the attention from a malevolent force, the Dark Emeralds, and they imbued Sonic with havoc energy and turned his blue fur and green eyes into green fur and red eyes. With this new power, Sonic became Scourge and used his new abilities to cause mayhem all across the world until the day when he finally defeated Namgge. Now ruling his entire world, Scourge could focus on his bigger goal, ruling the galaxy, but before he could start those plans, a dimensional rift opened and Scourge could see a more heroic version of himself fighting against a villainous version of Namgge. Seeing the possibilities of ruling the whole multiverse instead just his universe, Scourge set out to rule everything, starting with this new universe he discovered.
