The medic had pulled her hand back. She didn't hear past the warning. Her eyes had locked on Grim. A few steps took her to his side. He looked peaceful. Happy. She brushed her hand through his hair like she used to when he was a sleeping toddler. Warmth began to trickle down her cheeks.
