Description This is the method I use when going about enhancing my shots. I try to make changes minimal, but beneficial. You don't want to overdo the image, unless (as stated in the tutorial) you're trying to stylize the image. If you decide to go with black and white, then I suggest hard tones (high contrast / levels / curves) to really bring out the monotone feel. But that's really up to you.

Inspired by =bosniak 's tutorial: [link] Maybe a bit too much

Main difference is I use a non-destructive method, meaning that anything done to the image, can be undone. Just remember to always always always, save your psd along side your jpeg. It's important to be able to go back.

Made for Photoshop CS2. Screenshots taken in both Windows XP and Vista

Make sure to check out `bosniak 's tutorial [link] too. He's quite a bit better at it than I.

Thanks for the !

Thanks, but I'm just getting used to CS3 on a free trial, I think yours looks a bit simpler.

No problem. (:

Yeah, I like the image, but I do actually like the original of that one slightly better. I think its the green....I dont know. Good job though.

It's probably not a very good example of what can be done with the technique, but it used the most elements. Some images really pop when gone over like this, as I've found. And as with any tutorial, it's a spring board into your own style.
