I am very pleased with the end results of this image. I have been struggling with it for a few days now. The main reason is because I am trying to move away from using Vue and Poser so much. A whole lot more of this image is by hand in Photoshop, it pushed my skills to the max, but its also taught me a heck of a lot.So firstly, apologies if its not up to my usual style, but I'm really trying hard to make the most of my skills.
The whole of the sky, much of the horizon landscape and all the SFX etc are done in Photoshop.
The basic figure was Poser, but the hair and the colouring/shadows etc was done by hand (which is prolly why it look wierd LOL)
Bits and pieces were done in Terragen and the only bit I used Vue for was to doa reference for the Rock outcrop she is standing on.
I am trying for a very grand traditional/comic book style here, with lots of saturated, strong colours and a good range of tones. I wanted to more away from my other work with tends to be definable in terms of 'the red one' 'the blue one' 'the pink one'.

that is somthing quite spunktakular. The leters which circle around her feet stand out to me the most i just love them. The piece is very well done indeed but im really not fond of that skull in the sky. Dunno why just kinda looks odd and outof place. But dont listen to that the picture is great. And im sure every one thinks so to. Well of to ur gallery it is then.

Hi, I really like your "The Summoning ." It is really good I need to practice drawing more than I do. The reason is because I like the gutiar as well and other shit so it gets in the way of settling down. But I really admire this piece. Nice work!
