To make it look like tore up flesh. He really got that zombie affect.the tongue is simply amazing!
To me it looks like she is turning into a zombie. What really caught my eye was the warm colors!
To me it looks like he put reds, browns and peachy colors. To get it to look like that! That's why I like this!

I love the mouth and tongue detail. Very creepy, horrifying even. I'm not so sure about the forehead. Perhaps if the dabs were a bit smaller, or not so uniform in their edges, it would mesh better. The brow and eye socket look awesome, and so by extension does the rotting wound coming from the side of the eye. The teeth look pretty good, but again they've got pretty 'clean' edges. I've always thought that zombies would have some gnarly teeth due to chewing on bones and such, but that's just my artistic take on it. The hair also seems a bit neat for a zombie. I would have gone with a more 'messy' look.
Still, I think the painting is fantastic. The best detail, by far, is in the mouth area. The stretching of rotting skin, the distinct changes in color, the creepy expression. You rock Zilla. I haven't said it in a while, but you totally do.

Not even doing to try to critique. But an awesome drawing. Like It's beyond just a zombie, It's mutated. Some horrible radiation or accelerated evolution gone wrong? But evokes a pity at the same time as a fearful revulsion.
