a project I have had ticking along for a while now. This started off life as a 3D Studio mockup so I could get the lighting right and I accidently hit the wrong button and skewed the camera. Voila! 'Connected' was born.I used a Poser reference for the figure and strangely its given it a much more Anime feel to the shot rather than what I was originally going for which was more Giger-esque stuff. I kinda like how this has turned out though - dark and twisted and f**ked up. *heh*
This is a slightly reduced version of the original. I'm aiming to get this submitted hi-res as a print.
2 hours in 3D Studio. A LOT more time in Photoshop.

hey awsome work! I love it! The only thing i'd add is in agreement with the green comment. it sort of makes it look like the attatchments aren't affecting her whole body just the attatchment points. now perhaps they're supposed to be only recently attatched, and the feet ones have worked their way up her the most, but without any chronological references (such as more wires heading over to be added next or something) this doesn't really fly.
but yeah, that's just a detail and i love it anyhow. +fav!

On the plus side, she probably 0wnz at Unreal Tournament. On the minus side, she'll never be able to enjoy picking her nose again. Ever!
Also, I hope those implants and mods came with comprehensive cover, are you sure she should look that green? :-P
