Description
To create my models for the Beast Wars characters, I studied the episodes that I had on tape, pausing my VCR periodically and trying to translate the 3D models into a two-dimensional reference model. This is, incidentally, how I taught myself how to draw the G1 characters as well. (It's not like nowadays where the animation models get handed to everybody on a silver platter. If you wanted to learn to draw these characters, you really had to work for it.)
