Nice, but the base color I don't like much. At least not for a desktop. I'd use an orange or a blue or something, but that's just personal preference. I'm not sure I like the impossible to read text/code, but you're right that those areas need something to keep them from looking empty. I might have to adjust it myself for my desktop .
