A loooot of people have requested a tutorial on how I colour dapple grey horses. I have always said "Eh, it'd be the worst tutorial ever! It would just be me saying "colour each dapple separately" "... but you guys insisted.SO HERE IT IS.Β
The most useless tutorial in existence
It's just a lengthy, illustrated version of me saying "just colour each dapple separately", lol.

Now enjoy your dapples. And don't give me that look. I WARNED YOU. There is no easy way to go around colouring a dapple grey horse, lol.
Well, unless you use brushes.

Also, maybe you could do some sort of shading tutorial next, that's my dream way of shading and I just can't do it the way I want, which is the way YOU do it lmao rip me

I've never tried this method on dapples for other than dapple grey horses, but let me know if it works for bays or chestnuts too

Just so you know I have experimented with sooty on a cremello ( so not... too different from gray? but still, color ) I still must chestnut-dapples but I thought you'd like to know your method works pretty well on colors tooΒ --- | Hihiri | Blind

This is nice, but digital art is not real art. Real art is traditional art(Don't get angry!!!)Β

Art is so subjective. Anything can and is art. Digital is no easier then traditional to master. Hell, its harder. Personally, both styles are equal in artsy-ness. Dont bash someones art by calling it not real art. Have some compassion, please and thank you.Β

I don't care. You draw digital art with your computer mouse, not with your hand. And you don't draw the shades, you just put it on Photoshop.Β

well if I just "put it on Photoshop" we'd all produce masterpieces, wouldn't that be nice. Digital art can take much longer than traditional art, and before you start condemning it and likely hurting people's feelings, find that out for yourself.Β

That's awesome, I'll definitely use this for an upcoming sooty horsieΒ Β But that is when I've stopped putting down DAYS to finish a picture...Β Seriously, I started on that horse at least 3-4 months ago and hours total... Ugh, I don't even want to think about it...Β

I've never tried this method for use on sooty/other non-dapple-grey dapple varieties, so I don't know what the outcome will be... but good luck with it
