Upon making any character you can grab two of three automatic clan mutations or none at all! (Keep in mind only by being born in said clan/having that clan's heritage can these auto mutations be claimed. You may claim up to two of the auto mutations, no more, but you can do less.)

SHADOWCLAN MUTATIONS

Bioluminescence

With how dark the territory can be, Shadowclan cats have developed glowing sections of their fur to help see better. Usually stripes, spots, and white sections of a cat will take on the bioluminescence trait, and it should be noted that black fur cannot take on the mutation. The color and brightness of the glow can vary, including any color except neon (the markings depicted in the image are to display where bioluminescence might be displayed and should not account for coloration). The glow, at maximum brightness, can reach about 1 yard (1m). Shadowclan cats can turn the glowing "on" and "off" with senior warriors capable of flashing them in patterns- a trick learned from a Thunderclan leader long ago, if the stories are to be believed. Bioluminescence on a body can go up to 30%. This trait is often on display within days of birth, as kits will turn on their glow without any control and tend to be glowing fluff balls for a week.

Flashlight Eyes

The seekers of the clan, cats with flashlight eyes quite literally light the way. With large eyes, these cats somehow emit bright light from their peepers to illuminate the space directly in front of them up to 3 yards (3 meters). If used too long, though, these cats can suffer terrible migraines and dry eye to leave them bedridden for a day or two. The light emitted always matches the color of their eyes. This mutation usually isn't apparent until roughly apprentice age when they are developed enough to support the strain that comes with becoming a physical floodlight.

Abnormally Large

The second largest clan, Shadowclan cats can produce those on the taller side of the spectrum. Growing up to 20 inches (50.8 cm) at the shoulder, these cats are taller than any normal cat. Unlike Thunderclan's sizeable warriors, this mutation doesn't come with any hindrances or personality issues. This mutation doesn't show itself until warriorhood when they keep growing after their peers. As a kit or apprentice they might just seem bigger than the others, nothing exceptional, but will be clearly evident after gaining their warrior name.
