Before I became obsessed with Transformers, I was obsessed over Code Lyoko. I was on that hype train for a good 4 years or so, until I discovered Transformers Prime, then started to get immersed in the world of TF instead. You have no idea the sheer amount of cringy CL fanfics I wrote as a kid... There were notebooks full of them QwQ Back then I didn't even know those were called fan fiction yet I was already happily writing them lol

CL will always have a special place in my heart together with TFP. Both being the catalyst to me enrolling in an Animation course and deepening my love and understanding of the arts industry. In many ways I still feel Code Lyoko was a rather underrated show and deserved way more fame. Sure, the story and character development wasn't perfect, but nothing in this world is.

If you like science fiction/fantasy, action and friendship with a splash of comedy and romance/drama, I definitely recommend giving Code Lyoko a watch!

Note that the first 4 seasons were done way back in 2007 so you can see that the graphics (especially the CGI) are quite dated. Even the fashion sense and tech in the series is old-fashioned now XD Things like bellbottom pants, flip phones, GameBoys... Ah, I miss my childhood.
